Interactive installation with Turing Patterns and Cellular Automata
The script is alive – it evolves by itself – but it’s also interactive. Samples below were made using the hand as a brush, ‘painting’ with it in the air. When left alone, the rhythm is much slower and movement is contained around the last area ‘touched’ by the brush.
An Arduino controller was also used to change some parameters, which can also be modified by reaching to the corners of the imaginary canvas.
Below are a few static output samples and some screen recordings.
