A live audiovisual instrument translating reaction-diffusion dynamics into sound and image in real time.

Organūmi explores how patterns emerging from reaction-diffusion systems can be experienced simultaneously as image and sound. Rather than composing individual notes or visuals, the performer shapes the behavior of a living computational process whose dynamics continuously generate both.
The Performer as Catalyst
Organūmi is designed for tactile, real-time improvisation, allowing the performer to manipulate environmental variables of the simulation, rather than just triggering samples.
The Synthesis of Chemical Chaos
Unlike traditional synthesis, Organūmi treats code as a volatile chemical soup, where the audio and visual architectures are structurally inseparable. The output is a raw auditory manifestation of mathematical tension, velocity, and density, not a mere soundtrack to the visuals.
