A two-day generative art workshop where individual decisions collide, compete, and merge into one collective piece — built in p5js, with AI as the tool for understanding a system none of you have seen before /:\
Participants don’t just make art — they practice investigating an unfamiliar system with AI, proposing interventions, and accepting outcomes they don’t fully control.
Outcome: a collective artwork
The workshop culminates in a collective artwork built from the individual systems each participant has investigated and shaped. AI doesn’t generate the artwork for them. It helps them understand the system well enough to intervene in it.
Once the individual systems become one, every proposed change is tested live and put to a group vote.
The final piece emerges from the decisions the group makes together — including the unexpected consequences of those decisions.
